This endless packing consists of No. 6399 hard-molded to the required dimensions.
Suitable  as  a  shaft  seal  for  high-pressure reciprocating  machines  handling  fluids  such as  water  and  oil  based  fluids  and  solvent vapors.
Can  be  used  generally  in  combination  with carbon bushes, No. 6399 and/or No. 8201.
Can  also  be  used  as  an  adapter  packing  for valve shaft seals.

FEATURES

Carbon Fiber Coil PackingCoil packing of high-tension carbon fiber yarn, processed with PTFE dispersion, then braided into square cross section and finished with PTFE and fine graphite (6399L processed with lubricant)

APPLICATION

Used as seal for reciprocating machine shaft for water/oil fluid, solvent vapor, etc. and for valve stem.
